Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026

By using Secure Vault ("the Service"), you agree to these legally binding Terms of Service.

1 The Zero-Knowledge Compromise

Secure Vault is structurally designed so that we cannot access your encrypted data. By using the Service, you definitively acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for remembering and protecting your Master Password.
  • We cannot reset, recover, or bypass your Master Password under any circumstances.
  • If you lose your Master Password, your data will be permanently and mathematically inaccessible. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from forgotten credentials.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Secure Vault to store, transmit, or promote illegal content, malware, or coordinate unlawful activities. We strictly reserve the right to terminate accounts that leverage our infrastructure for Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) networks, spam, or platform abuse.

3. Service Availability "As Is"

While we pride ourselves on enterprise-grade infrastructure and multi-region high availability, the Service is provided on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis. We do not legally warrant that the service will be entirely uninterrupted or infinitely error-free.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Secure Vault and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data corruption, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
